Program Credentials & Opportunities
Accreditation:
Rhode Island Community Training Center (RICTC) is actively pursuing accreditation through the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the EMS Professions (CoAEMSP), demonstrating our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in EMS education.

Clinical & Field Experience:
RICTC has established partnerships with local hospitals and municipal fire departments to provide students with comprehensive, hands-on clinical and field training. These experiences are designed to ensure students develop the practical skills and confidence required to perform at the paramedic level.

College Credit Opportunities:
RICTC maintains an educational partnership with Columbia Southern University (CSU), allowing graduates of the RICTC NREMT Paramedic Program to receive academic credit toward undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
In addition, RICTC students and graduates are eligible to receive a 10% tuition discount at CSU, supporting continued educational and professional advancement.
